Here are two fun videos of Zev. Please ignore the crazy sounding woman who talks to him!

This is from our visit to Grandma's a while ago.



I laid him facing me. He now turns so he can kick the mirror. He sounds a little whiny at the beginning, but there is a cute smile if you wait for it!

Yesterday Zev was playing with his cousin Kade, and his Papa came over to visit. Here are a few pictures of the boys and Jay.

This is not Zev's best picture ever... he was grumpy and he looks like a chubster. They had fun going for a walk together though.

So, Mr. Zev is so big that he has moved out of the bucket back to the big tub. He loves being naked and he loves the water. Here is a video...




Not too long after this he splashed himself, got scared, and started crying. I knew then it was time for bed!

Toys!

Zev is becoming really good at playing. Here are a few photos (including a fuzzy one.) He likes his jumper now and he plays with the ball and makes music. He likes anything that goes in his mouth of course, and he likes to throw things over his face as you can see in the last fuzzy picture...




On another note, we just wanted to share how excited we are that Emily is having a baby! I know that with just 10 months between them Zev and Little Baby Richardson are going to have so much fun together! Zev and I can't wait to go in October to see Emily and her baby bump!

Today Zev went to the doctor. He weighs 15 pounds and six ounces. He is 26 inches tall, and his head is 17 inches. So we thought he was short and fat, but actually he is in the 50th percentile in weight and the 80th percentile in height. He just might be tall and skinny like his dad. He got three shots, and he was pretty sad about it, but hopefully he will feel better soon after a long nap!

Here are a few pictures from Zev's trip to Tyler. He got to visit with his family, and we had a great time!

Last Friday, Zev was 4 months old! He is a big boy and I am so proud of him. Here a bunch of pictures! You can see him falling, playing with the paper, and then eating it! He is more and more fun every day. We are so lucky.

Zev loves Michael Jackson

Yesterday while walking through the mall my mom saw this shirt, and she decided that for my sake Zev had to have it. So, here it is, Zev's first Michael Jackson t-shirt! He is going to wear it today while we watch yesterday's Oprah about Michael. I remember that interview she is showing vividly because I had this tiny TV that plugged in to the wall and could be moved. I plugged it in and put it under my sheets. Then I watched the interview while I was supposed to be asleep. I have loved Michael Jackson for years, and now it is time to pass that love on to Zev!

Finally a nap! It took until 9:35... crazy baby!

Zev loves to lay on his back and play toys. He doesn't hate laying on his belly quite as much either. This video was take really early this morning as Zev had his craziest night in a month. He woke up at 12:30, 3:00, 5:30, and then took like a 10 minute nap at 7:20... So after I get this posted, I am off to try to get him to go back to sleep!




We are going to try to go the zoo again this week, and then this weekend Zev is going to Tyler to visit some of his family. Maybe we will get some cute pictures up then!

So, I have been getting a lot of grief for not posting this week, and for the last post being a picture of diapers instead of Zev. I have missed some good moments this week such as Zev snotting on me, and his new blanket snuggle buddy. We have been working on naps a lot this week, thus there have been less fun pictures! We were supposed to go to the zoo for the first time today, and I was going to bring the camera for some good pictures, but alas, it was canceled by the rain. I therefore have to tide you over, a picture of Zev when we went on a walk.



Now, turn up the volume for this one. Yes, there is not picture as it was too dark in the room, but the sound was too cute not to post!




I promise to try to take more pictures this week, and maybe I'll show off some of those diapers on Zev!

We are officially going to be full time trying cloth diapers.
We had our first poopy one and made it through. Hopefully we can stick it out because it could save us quite a lot of money... (and be good for the environment to boot). We are buying a bunch of Bumgenius 3.0. We did a three week trial and that one was the best we found because it didn't leak, and more importantly will grow with him until he is potty trained rather than having to buy lots of different sizes. Here is a picture.

At least for now he is going to sleep in a disposable. We can see more about that later. I am slightly nervous about all the extra laundry, but also excited about all my extra fun accessories like the cute wet dry bags I ordered. Zev will have a cute little bubble bottom in lots of fun colors! Pictures of Zev wearing them will follow when we get them all in.

Last, this isn't Zev, it is his cousin Kade. I think it is so funny that he sucks on his toes. For those of you who don't know, Kade is 8 days older than Zev. They have been going to music class together for the last few weeks. They don't really notice each other that much yet, but it won't be long!
