Zev's new things...

Zev has two new things to show off.

The first is a new double chin...

The second is a new and improved playroom. (He will be able to play eventually!)

The house is looking great. Hopefully in the next few months, there will be pictures of Zev playing in it!

my first video

Matt and Emily's

Zev and I just got back from a long trip to Houston to visit Auntie Em and Matt. We had lots of fun. Matt and Emily babysat while I went to my friend's wedding, and even more exciting, Matt babysat while Emily and I went to see Harry Potter. There was a big poop explosion in his bouncy chair, and Matt had Zev all cleaned up and watching golf before we got home. What a guy.

2 MONTHS OLD! WOW!

napping...

These are his free pajamas that Ari got because they were left at a property someone had moved out of. They say Dad's team. Isn't that just like Ari to get free dad pajamas?

family

Stacy, Maddie, Jake, and Mamaw are going to Indonesia on Sunday. Zev will in all likelyhood not see them until after his first birthday! That is a loooong time. Here are a few pictures of family time (including one of Madison changing a diaper!)

Now Zev and I are going to Houston today to see Auntie Em. More to come next week.

doctor

Today Zev went for the big 2 month check up! He got three different shots and some grape flavored medicine (which he really seemed to enjoy). He had some Tylenol before the shots, and he only cried for less than a minute. The doctor and the nurse both commented on how easy going and laid back he is. Lucky me! He weighed 11 pounds, 7 ounces, so he is gaining a lot of weight! Here are some pictures documenting the day to prove it!

Resting up for the big event

Not happy!

Cute little band-aid legs

Hopefully he will always do this well with shots. Now he is taking a big nap!

broken computer...

A few days ago our computer broke. When you turned it on, it would never move off the screen showing a big apple. I was so sad because I knew they were going to erase everything on it, but as luck would have it, ($20 later) I got to save the pictures before they wiped it clean. How horrible would it have been to lose all the pictures of Zev so far? I am thankful they were saved, and I'll post some more soon. Tomorrow Zev has his 2 month check up, so maybe there will be some sad pictures after his first round of shots...

"I look good..."

Here is Zev looking pretty cute in a diaper...

Posing for the camera

Last, but not least, showing off one thing Zev definitely got from his mom: a big tongue.

Notice he is wearing his shirt with animals on it. This was his most appropriate outfit for Michael's funeral... He had a sad day.

Zev spent an entire day with his Auntie Em and then went out to dinner with Grandpa George and Grandma Dee, and I DIDN'T TAKE ONE PICTURE! Whoops... Good thing he will see them all again so soon. Here are some pictures from before that...

With his feet stuck...

Eating his blanket...

Today Zev has big plans to watch Michael Jackson's memorial and clean the house with his mom. What a lucky baby...

Happy 4th of July!

Thanks to Aunt Lisa AND Uncle Mike for the red, white, and blue outfit. Thanks even more to Grandma Mimi for the new couch Zev is sitting on! He is going to really enjoy his new playroom furniture (and all the rest of it...) one day soon. We love you.

Zev went to the doctor yesterday and things were good. He will most likely not have to have surgery for his issue! Hooray! He was very, very, very angry about the doctor messing with his business though... After getting calm enough to ride in the car, he did go to get a birthday present for his Auntie Em who is coming in town to see him! Happy birthday Emily, and I swear Zev doesn't hate you... Last night, Zev slept (not in a row of course) for NINE hours, which is a big improvement over the usual five (also not in a row...) Now he is doing his favorite activity of looking in the mirror. This kid loves his reflection...
