2010

I can't believe that today is the last day of 2010. I really can't believe the changes that Zev has gone through in the past year. He went from crawling to walking and silent to VERY loud at least with with few words he knows. He is full of personality and has become quite sassy lately, at least at home.

He also started off 2010 with NO curls. Crazy.

It has been a fantastic year for us, and I know next year will be amazing as well. We will be welcoming another sweet little boy to fill our lives in just a few short months. I know this time next year I will be marveling at how I have a two year old a seven month old!

Hope you all have a wonderful new year!

Grey visits!

On Christmas Eve morning Zev had some visitors. Matt, Emily, of course, most importantly Grey came over to play and exchange gifts. Zev and Grey got along pretty well.

Zev shared his toys with Grey (most of them anyway). He would bring him these balls, and if he ran out of hands, his mouth was a great place to leave it for him.

Here is Zev and I with a gift we got from Emily. This turtle puts the stars up on the ceiling, and he LOVES it. He just doesn't understand why he can't see stars during the day though...

Grey is getting so big and looking so old.

He even made it through the tunnel!

Matt invented another game for Zev to play with the tunnel.

It looks like he didn't like it here, but actually he did. He still wants to play, and I am pretending I don't know what he wants...

Grey and I, after Zev gave him a little shove. He was needing more love after that.

So, Zev decided to make up with him. There was some good kissing going on. It is hard to capture on camera, but they both had their mouth's open with lots of slobber.

Yum!

Grey, me, and the baby in the belly! We have a similar picture of Emily with Zev last year and baby Grey in her belly.

Me and all THREE boys (sort of)!

All of us, and Matt got us actually looking. I think he may want to stop being a doctor and move on to being a baby photographer. I think he could have a gift.

Speaking of Matt, here is a little video of he and Zev playing peek-a-boo!

We had so much fun with this bunch. Hopefully we will get to see them again in January when they come back, and maybe even make a trip to Mississippi before the new baby boy arrives.

Christmas!

On Christmas eve, we went out to look at Christmas lights in our pajamas. Zev had lots of fun. After the last house, he kept saying "mo, mo, mo!" He loves lights.

On Christmas morning we joined my mom, Jay, and lots of other relatives at my mother's house for brunch. We had so much fun, but we didn't end up with any pictures! Boo! Zev had lots of fun playing with his cousins and eating and eating.

We took these when we got home of Zev opening a present. I couldn't stand to have no pictures of him in his pajamas on Christmas. He is a present opening pro.

He had on different pajamas with a polar bear like last year, but I was told by Ari that there was an incident that required a change...

This is his favorite ornament. I swear I am not trying to make him a Disney freak, but it plays music, and the little small world kids dance; so he loves it. He asks to watch it several times a day.

Finally some action!

It is very hard to get a picture of Zev looking at the camera these days, but we keep trying.

Tomorrow I will post more pictures of our Christmas Eve day play date with Emily, Matt, and baby Grey. Lets just say there was some kissing.

Busy!

Busy is what Zev is all the time, which is why even though there is a ton to film, I am often so busy with him that forget! Zev is still loving his kitchen. That keeps him busy a lot.

Today we were very busy. This morning, in December, it was 80 degrees. So, we went to the zoo. I, of course, forgot the camera, but we got a cute video of Zev going down the slide in the Children's Zoo.

This afternoon since it was still so nice, and we went to the park. Zev has had texture issues until now, and he has never wanted to play in the sand. Today, he has apparently changed his mind.

We were both covered in sand. It was in my shoes, my shirt, and even down my pants. Zev had it in his shoes, and he did not like when I took them off to get the sand out.

Here is another little video that shows just how busy Zev is...

We have big plans this week with Christmas coming up, and then a little trip to Tyler. Hopefully I will remember to blog more!

Happy Hanukkah!

We have had so much fun over the last 8 nights. Zev really enjoys lighting the candles. He loves to help and he loves PRESENTS even more. Beware this is a long post.

Here he is on night one opening his veggies...

He likes to eat the carrots and the tomato.

The next day he opened his fruit. On the third night, he opened some fridge foods. He also opened this fun book that makes noises from Grandma Mimi.

On the fourth night, he got an egg puzzle set, which I love. On the fifth night he got a sandwich making set, which he liked. On the sixth night, he got a pizza set which he seemed to really like.

PIZZA!

Here is Zev getting out the candles.

He gave them to me, and I lit them, at least on this night, because Ari wasn't home. I had to make up some of the words to the prayer, but luckily Zev didn't notice.

Here he is lighting the candles with dad on the eighth night.

Sometimes he does want to try to blow the candles out, and we have to tell him no...

On the seventh night, Zev got a guitar and a game from my mom.

Here we have the big reveal on night eight.

Here are a few of Zev playing in his new kitchen. I think we are going to have hours of fun with this.

Opening and closing things is fun...

Here is Zev on the phone

This is my favorite. You can see him getting water from the fridge and then microwaving...

Hope everyone reading had a fantastic Hanukkah, and if you don't celebrate it, lucky Zev will wish you a merry Christmas in a few weeks!

Baby Lund!

We went to the doctor yesterday for my big sonogram appointment. We are happy to announce that Zev will be having a baby BROTHER in April. He is a perfectly healthy little guy, and I think that he looks just like his big brother in his sonogram.

Here is Zev's sonogram from 19 weeks:

Here is the new little guy's sonogram from 19 weeks:

I think they have the same profile, and this baby is going to be just as precious as Zev. Ari thinks all sonograms look the same, but oh well.

We are almost halfway to baby number two!

Thanksgiving, Part 2

Here are Noah and Jaren before they went off to ski school. Noah really liked it, and Jaren fell asleep after the morning session and never made it back outside for the afternoon.

Here is Zev playing in his pajamas...

...with his goofy cousin Noah.

The three big kids in the tub.

Jaren is telling Zev something important.

Here is Zev getting ready to go tubing. He is looking super cute.

Zev loves his cousins.

The bigger kids getting ready.

Out in the snow

We tried to get them all looking, but that was impossible.

Zev is too busy with the snow to look at how cute baby Ava is.

He did enjoy going on the sled with dad.

Karen and Jaren inside warming up. Jaren did not really like tubing, so she only went once.

Jaren, Zev, Noah, and baby Ava on the couch. Still working on Zev smiling and sitting still for pictures.

Buster and Jaren

Last, my favorite new picture of Zev. I took this with Ari's iphone while we were pulling Zev in the tube. I will try to post a video of it when I get a chance!
