Tyler

We just got back from Tyler, so I have some pictures of Mr. Zev playing by himself and with our family. Madison is becoming quite the photographer, and she took most of these. Of course, this is how she works it to not be in any of the pictures, but she and Zev did have lots of fun together, unless he drools on her.

Here he is, mighty proud of himself...

Zev was playing with the dogs all weekend. He loves them, and they really inspired him to try to bug Gizzmo a lot more.

It took Zev a little while to warm up, but he really liked playing with his family. He is really into guys right now, so he was really favoring Grandpa, Uncle Scott, Colton, and especially Uncle Jake. He wants to climb all over the guys and the dogs, so he could not have had a better time. He got to swim and play. He also loved crawling all around new places exploring. His ability to communicate (between words and signs) is really taking off. This morning, he crawled over the the gate the dogs were behind. When he got there, he turned to me and signed dogs, and then he signed please. We let them out, and he was so excited!

I'll try to update more frequently...

Happy Father's Day!

I am a day late because we were out of town, but we want to wish a happy Father's Day to all the men in Zev's life:

Zev loves his Buster! They have lots of fun together, and Buster can get Zev to make some great faces... He also does a great Zev is hungry and wants MORE now impersonation.

Zev loves his Pops! We are so excited that my dad (and the rest of my family) are moving back to Texas! We can't wait to see everyone MUCH more often. You are guys are really going to enjoy this new big boy!

Papa! As his only grandfather in town, Zev gets to see Papa more often and he is extremely good at making this little man laugh. They have so much fun.

Of course, we can't forget my grandpa, Zev's great grandfather, he and Zevi love to visit. He likes to rock Zev and tickle him. We will be in Tyler next weekend so they can visit more.

Zev loves to visit with Grandpa George, and they had tons of fun playing by the pool in the Dominican Republic. I was just too busy to remember to take any pictures! We will have to fix that this summer!

Last, but not least, Zev LOVES his dad. He "talks" to him all day on the phone, and he starts following him around as soon as he is home from work. Zev just can't get enough playtime with dad. I don't think anyone could be a better father to Zev, and I'm not sure he could love Ari any more than he does! I have loved watching Ari be a fantastic and fun dad to the world's sweetest boy for the past 13 months. I know they are only going to have more fun together as the years go on! I can't wait to watch it...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Anniversary!

Today is the third anniversary of our wedding day! In honor of that, I am going to post a few wedding pictures. Here is the venue.

The most delicious cake ever. It was still good when we thawed it on our first anniversary.

about to have our first kiss as husband and wife...

This was so much fun. I can't wait for Zev's bar mitzvah to do it again...

our wedding is one of the few occasions I've gotten Ari to dance

our big exit

These last three years have been such an adventure. I couldn't be luckier than to be married to such a wonderful person, friend, and father.

I love you Ari!

Chicago, part 2

Here are a few more pictures from Chicago. These are off of Karen's camera, and they are much nicer than mine!

First a few of the graduation...

Karen, Oren, Grandma Mimi, Gregg, and Noah

during our morning at Millennium Park

The kids had lots of fun at the festival and playing in the water. It isn't pictured, but Zev's favorite part of the festival was shaking his maraca. Zev didn't get to play in the water; maybe in September!

Chicago

This weekend we went to Chicago. I have only terrible iphone pictures, but I might get some better ones later in the week. If I do, I'll post those too. Here is a picture of the city.

We stayed in a hotel down the street from Oren's apartment. It was really nice and very close to downtown. We had a good time at Oren's graduation (though Zev had to go play outside instead of staying in)...

Here is a picture of Noah playing with Zev. I am really terrible about the pictures, but the cousins had so much fun together. Noah asked me if he could keep Zev, and both of his cousins were so much fun with him.

Here are a few at Millenium Park. They had a children's event going on, and we got to play there on Sunday morning.

Here are Zev and Jaren at lunch. It is very hard to get a two year old and a one year old to both look at you. These are the best I could do...

Yesterday we got to the airport at 2:00 for a 4:10 flight. It did not take off until 7:40. We did get Zev to take a nap and eat dinner, but we also found a little "mini" Chicago Children's Museum. Zev crawled around and played in the fake plane, shipping boxes, and here below we weighed him as our luggage!

We had so much fun on our trip, and we loved visiting with the family. We can't wait for the next trip to Chicago in September for Oren and Lindsay's wedding!

Zev and his baby

Here are two more pictures of Zev with his baby. I think they are going to be good friends...

(I am not sure about this hair, he may need just a trim. It is getting a little out of control. This is after I resprayed it and tried to style it before we left the house...)

a few videos...

I am getting complaints about not posting, so here we have a few videos! We have Zev pushing his shopping cart. He is doing so well!

Here he is pushing and playing with his new baby. We thought he was being sweet, then he starting flinging him...

One last quick video of Zevi putting this bucket on his head. He loves to put things on his head. He is also really into stacking things and taking them apart and putting them back together.

This weekend we are going to Chicago. I will try to get some pictures up before then, but I will definitely have some from the trip! We are really excited.

hi...

Here we have Zev waving "hi" to his Buster. Buster came to visit for a night, and he got a few pictures of Zevi in the pool. This is the best one (and also one that doesn't have me in a swim suit...) Zev had lots of fun playing with Buster.

We are glad Zev had fun with Buster because he has had a few days where he didn't feel so hot, between a fever, teething, and a cold, but he is feeling good again. Maybe we'll get some more pictures up this week.
