Random pictures

I haven't posted in forever and my mom has been giving me lots of grief about it!  Here are some shots, mostly from today, but two from last week.

This is how Z fell asleep last week after camp on Friday.

a nice close up a minute later...

Today we had a friend over to play while her mom ran some errands.  Here is Zev's art we made.

She and Zev also had fun playing water beads.

We also practiced Zev's new favorite activity, cutting.  He has been begging me for "boy scissors" for months. If I had known he would sit and cut paper for half an hour or more without moving, I might have spent the $1.50 sooner...

"Cheese!"

Tahl's new favorite thing to do is ROAR!

Now, every animal that doesn't quack is roaring.

He is also super drooly right now.

This elephant also happens to taste delcious.

ROAR!

This guys says ROAR too!

Here he wants my camera.

 What?

Tahl's other new habit is running away from me. He will snatch my phone and run!

Zev wanted to take some pictures too.  He is, of course, a fireman.

Another "cheese!"

Z is looking so much older.

Kisses...

I love this kid.

I think he likes me too.
I will try to be better and take more pictures, but they might all just be shots of this kid in a costume or doing something crazy...

Tahl dances!

We were watching a little Lion King around here on a rainy afternoon.  Tahl just started dancing!  Here are two little videos of him dancing.  It is hard to hear, but he also says "ca" (for cat) every time that he sees Simba. He completely stopped watching the movie as soon as the song was over, but he had a lot of fun for a few minutes there.
You might notice Zev in the background with Ari's slippers on his feet and sandals on his hands.  He told me he was a "shoe monster." He stayed like that for the 45 minutes we watched the movie. He's a silly kid.

More water time...

Zev started swim lessons last week.  He did a great job and had lots of fun.  It may still be a while until he is swimming.  His teacher said he is "tense"... I think that may be an understatement, but at least he liked it.

His teacher is Mr. Matt.  They are really fun there and let him wear "super hero shoes," also know as flippers.

He practiced jumping.

He was the king of the pool.

He cried when it was time to go.

On Monday, I took Tahl to the arboretum with friends while Zev was at school.

He had lots of fun splashing and playing in the fountains.

He also really enjoyed putting leaves in the bottom of our stroller.

He might also have had a cookie...

Today, we went to the water park with my friend Heather and her kids.  You can see Zev here getting sprayed and her son Asher in the background with the truck.

Last time we went, Tahl wasn't sure about it, but today he loved the water.

Here he is splashing in the water!

Tahl was sad when it got in his face. After  a while we went to play on the playground next to the splash ground.  Tahl can go up the stairs and do everything now! I have to watch him like a hawk.  He makes me nervous.

arboretum

The weekend before I went to Mississippi and Tyler, Ari and I took the boys to the arboretum.  I completely forgot about the pictures until now.

Here is Tahl on the little bench. I have a picture of Zev here when he was just a little younger than Tahl is now, so I thought it would be good to have one of Tahl.

He just wanted to get down and walk around.

Again, Zev hugs a little too tightly.

They have a really neat art exhibit going on right now with blown glass.

Here is Zev with the big "pineapple" as he called it.

The balls in the boat was my favorite.  Zev and Tahl also liked all the colors.

Zev told me this looked like a candy tree.

We let the guys get down and run in the fountains.  They had fun splashing, but the rocks were hard on their feet.  They had crocs, but of course it is better to be bare foot and hurting your feet...

Tahl would walk out and just stand there.
The boys had lots of fun though, and we had a yummy picnic.

fire house

Today we went again to tour a fire house with friends.  Zev, of course, had to wear his fire man jacket, hat, and boots again. He was very impressed with all these hoses.

Here is Tahl driving the truck.

Everyone sitting on the front of the truck.

The poor guy on the bottom did not want his mom to put him on there.

I tried to get a picture of my two guys on the front of the truck.  Zev always takes the directions of "holding Tahl" a little bit to literally.  Tahl does not like this.
