We went to the state fair today! We had so much fun. Right off the bat we got a corny dog, and then we went to ride some rides. Zev looked at all the rides, and he got to choose two. First, he chose the same monster trucks he rode last year. He felt very big driving me around in the backseat.
This is how Tahl felt about being too short to ride.
Next Zev picked to ride the roller coaster. When he was riding it, it is hard to tell if he is liking it, but when he got off, you could tell that he LOVED it. It makes me really excited for Disney World so soon!
Next we went to play on the farm. This is a frowny Big Tex.
Happy little pig.
I wanted Zev to get in the cow face for the picture, so of course, he wanted to be in the random t-shirt guy.
Zev was very serious about planting his seed in the dirt.
Tahl was mostly throwing a fit and getting in other people's way...
We went to the petting zoo (no pictures,) and we stopped to eat some nachos. Yum.
Then we went to try to take pictures in the same spot as the last three years. Here is Ari with Tahl, who did not want to stay still.
He really did NOT want to stay still.
Zev never looks at the camera!
So I started tickling this guy to try to get a good picture. Please excuse Zev's head in the bottom of each frame.
Tahl looks extra chubby when I tickle him and squish him.
I will have to edit Zev's head out...
Me and my little two guys
I found the way to get Zev to look at the camera is to change my iPhone camera so he can see himself. It isn't as good of quality, but he sure is cute.

Then we went to drive the cars! All little kids just love to pretend to drive, and these two are no exception.
Tahl was busy saying "beep beep" .
The last thing we did before we went home was to go get a funnel cake. It did not disappoint.
Both boys were sad there was not more of it.
Tahl is mid-sign for more here.
This is what happened to Zev between the funnel cake and the car. I think he was just a little bit tired.
Ari is going back to the fair tomorrow to see the Texas/OU game. He is so excited to be going to the game, and I think he may be sampling a little more crazy food tomorrow.
